Exoto xs 1/18 models

I have recently discovered this branch of Exoto’s previously well known diecast model cars etc.
The Exoto xs models are something else and show exceptional detail and craftsmanship. Being very familiar with CMC models here in Europe, having now seen Exoto xs models, I am extremely impressed with the considerable extra detail and multitude of tiny bespoke parts (nuts & bolts, fasteners, unions, photo-etch etc). The final finish is up to standard too and so the overall presentation is similar to that of a 1/12 model, but in 1/18 scale. Seems they are only available via the US and eBay show some with plenty of high quality photos, as well as the Exoto site itself.
Has anybody any personal experience of these models or a view/comments to offer?

    Morning to all,
I have a question and maybe you can help me out. I have a 1958 Tipo 246 F1 by Exoto.
Model is still in original box and brand new. Country of origin is Italy. It’s Die Cast Metal 1:18.
How can I find out the value to sell?
    Thank You so much.

      Dear Holly,
Very nice model indeed, if its by Exoto xs which is the highly detailed version of standard Exoto 1/18 models. There are various race versions of the 246 that Exoto xs make. I thought these came from the US and I have purchased several of these from them via their website over the years and had them shipped over to the UK from the US.
As to value, I would start by looking at the Exoto website and convert back from their USD $ price, otherwise eBay may give some idea as they frequently offer all their products on eBay.
If any further help required let me know. Are you US based where I believe the models originate from, or europe-based?
      All the best,
